LEMONT, IL — The village of Lemont is planning to develop the Archer Avenue Fuel Center on the corner of Archer and 135th Street. During the state of the village address, Mayor John Egofske said the village has partnered with the village of Homer Glen to develop the “isolated triangle bordered by I-355, Archer and 135th Street.”
The village worked with Homer Glen to annex the land into Lemont. The two villages came to an agreement to make it a “win-win for both towns,” Egofske said.

“If you live on the south or west side of town [this] is much needed,” Egofske said.

An exact opening date is not yet known.
